Deposit & Cancellation Policy at Johnson Blythe Hairdressers in Hertford
Thank you for visiting the Johnson Blythe website. As your appointments are very important to us, we have now updated our cancellation policy to provide better and more efficient service to all our clients.
We take your appointment as a verbal contract and it is reserved especially for you. For this reason, please understand, that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. We respectfully ask that if you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact us ASAP to avoid any charges.
We may require a deposit to be paid for some services. You will be advised of this on booking.
Since our services are reserved for you personally, if an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice then you will lose your deposit, if this has been paid. Alternatively, a 50% cancellation charge will apply or this amount will be added to your next appointment bill.
Late Arrival Fees & Conditions
Please be aware that an unattended appointment will be classed as a ‘no show’ and a 50% fee will also apply or will be added to your next appointment bill. If you are unable to attend your appointment on time, you may have to wait for the next available stylist – the charge for the original stylist you booked in with may still apply. Consultations and Skin Allergy Patch Tests
If any of the below apply to you, you will need a quick skin test AT LEAST 48 hours before your hair colour appointment with Johnson Blythe
– You are a new client to Johnson Blythe
– You have coloured your hair elsewhere or at home since your last visit to Johnson Blythe
– You have had COVID-19.
Failure to comply with this policy will result in the cancellation of your hair colour appointment. Read more here.
Child Bookings on Saturdays
As Saturday’s are our busiest days when a child is booked on a Saturday, there will be a minimum of £20 for each appointment regardless of age or who he/she is booked in with. Prices remain as normal for the remainder of the weeks.
The cancellation policy gives us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability and keeps our team members’ schedules filled. Our aim is to provide you with an excellent level of service and our policies help us to achieve this
