First time visiting having moved to the area and not knowing which hairdressers to use. but had an amazing experience, great atmosphere and vibe. And Steph was fantastic , left feeling freshed and brand new!!
Went to Johnson Blythe in a panic and needed saving as my hair had been done badly elsewhere. Everyone in there were so welcoming and friendly. Mitchel and Sophie both put me at ease telling me how my hair could be sorted. Cannot thank Sophie enough for helping me, I’m so happy with how my hair turn...ed out! read more

Mitchel was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly patient, kind and inclusive throughout my appointment. I’m non verbal, and he took the time to make sure I felt comfortable, understood and included at every stage, which I really appreciated. He explained everything clearly, never made me feel rushe...d, and created such a relaxed and welcoming experience. Most importantly, my hair looks amazing! I’m so happy with the result and would definitely recommend Mitchel, especially to anyone who values a patient, understanding and inclusive hairdresser. Thank you so much! ❤️ read more

Great friendly service for both my teenage and preteen girls. Hard to find a hairdresser who can help manage curly hair and we've had a fair few not so satisfactory experiences. We went in not expecting much and came out with big confident smiles!

I have been having my hair done by Freya, one of the apprentices at Johnson Blythe Hairdressing, during model school for around 11 months, and I have been so impressed every time!Freya has completely transformed my hair colour, I used to always use a box dye and had bright red hair, but she has work...ed her magic and created a beautiful, natural-looking shade that I absolutely love. She has also given me some lovely cuts and always takes the time to make sure I am happy with everything.The whole team at Johnson Blythe are so welcoming and supportive, creating a brilliant environment for their apprentices to learn and grow. Freya has come such a long way and her confidence and skill really show. I am always thrilled with my hair and can’t wait for my next visit! read more

I came in today for the first time for an X-tenso smoothing/straightening treatment and a cut. I was well looked after from start to finish and was really impressed with the outcome! Lovely staff and lovely first experience in the salon. I will be returning for sure!

An amazing experience from the team at Johnson Blythe - I visited the salon to get my hair styled for my Christmas party. What a transformation! The salon is in a great location - right by the station, I was greeted with a very warm welcome and drinks and snacks were offered - which is a lovely touc...h! Emily washed my hair, very relaxing and great massage! Claire cut and styled my hair exactly how I asked. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. She added layers, and volume to my previously flat hair. And it still looks voluminous the morning after the party! I recently had my hair coloured and cut by Choloe and I love it! I’ve had a few people compliment me on the colour and with Choloe’s advice on products and styling I find it easier to control my thick wavy hair, thank you Choloe. Following a really bad haircut and colour by an unnamed hairdressers I visited Johnson Blythe today to rectify my cut which has made me so unhappy since. Claire cut my hair so beautifully and I left feeling great with a fantastic cut. Now to go back to rectify the colour. Thanks so much Claire.
